I Love My Computer: Even More

installing linux is like giving your computer a big kiss... at least, that's what i made my start menu button say:
a button with a heart on the leftmost side, saying 'kiss computer' to the left of it
my HP PC was finally given a name... my disney asus is called paisley i dont think i mentioned that but my HP's name is tessa... i think it fits her huh :p

there is something special about using your computer on the "intimate" level that linux provides, so close to the hardware you can practically feel your fingers brushing its little circuit boards... it's definitely made me fell ever more deeply for her, especially getting to customize just about every aspect -- something that i know my younger self would've loved and makes me wish i'd made the switch from windows sooner for sure!!

not to mention no more unnecessary bloat and spyware and all that stuff that slows it down... it's running faster now than i ever thought possible, it feels so snappy and even more so since i overclocked the gpu (i'm being careful with that of course AAAH!)

despite having no experience with linux before this it came quite easy to me... i think im just very computerbrained... using the terminal feels quite natural and after familiarizing myself with it more and more i find i get things done a lot faster on linux than on windows

of course i'd be remiss not to remind you all that computers work so hard every day to help us with our little projects and programs and live for our convenience... i think it's fair we show them a little love back by installing an operating system that makes this easier for them...

overall verdict: everyone in the world should use linux. jk its really not for everyone but i wish it was not saying i want linux to change i just want everyone to like it *sigh*
